Tammy Pierce
Tammy Pierce is a native of Dallas, Texas. She attended Texas Wesleyan University and majored in Political Science.She has sat on numerous boards in the DFW. In 2021 Tammy decided to step in the realm of advocation. Due to the disparity numbers of Black Contractors and the unemployment rate in urban communities she began to work to build capacity in a industry such as construction that is very lucrative.

At United Black Contractors, we are dedicated to building not just structures, but a legacy that honors and elevates black history. Dr. Dwayne Washington, a cinematographer who has filmed impactful documentaries worldwide, also one of the founders of the Ebonyoply Black History game. His travels have enriched the understanding of heritage, and harness knowledge in hosting gameathons. These events are designed to educate participants on significant historical events while fostering community connections.

We recognized that our community represented only 1% of public and private partnerships in capital investment projects, and we set out to change that narrative. Our mission is to provide access to contracts, comprehensive training, vital certifications, and resources for finance and legal aid.
